I need to change that gasket on my 95 and with oil being expensive I need to do it soon.

Default Pushrod cover gasket

Yeah, I think mines leaking too! I've been trying to track down this aggravating drip, must be the cover. Rubber gasket 23-35 in/lbs. Much appreciated. I'll let you know how it goes.

Default Pushrod Cover Torque

Okay, I know it's not much of a difference but I just found Pushrod Cover Bolts 18-27 in/lbs in Haynes on pg 2A-1. Don't know why I didn't see it before. Could there be a slight difference in the torque for a cork versus a rubber gasket?

What i got was based from All Data for the 93 4.9, and all the same to 96, maybe there is a difference but it doesn't specify. But whether its 18-27 or 23-35 in/lb, it seems to be in the ballpark of just over hand tight so you should be safe between 23-27 in/lb

Default oil leak on the side of my 4.9

Like others commented several were not even finger tight so I torqued them to 25 in/lbs to see if that helps. Thanks again for the specs.
