Default Oh CRAP ! Manual Tranny Problem - I think

I have a 93 F150 I6 and I was driving today and lost 2nd gear and now with every gear I have to slam into position and the truck clunks and feels like it dips downward on every change. It is freakin scary to drive.
I know I haven't given much info but should I be expecting the worst ?

Its a 5 speed tranny thats all I know.
What symptons would it have if the shifting fork was the problem ?

Its tuff getting into gear but once the truck is in 1st 3rd or 4th it drives like normal and the clutch seems to operate like normal as well on take off.

well youll lose that gear, and then soon 1st. If thats the case. the only real way of knowing is going into your cab, taking the carpet up, and putting it in neutral and tear it down until you get into the tranny and see whats going on. also, check your fluid level, those 5 speeds have a bad tendecy to leak at the three seals on the back top of the transmission so ive heard. I would check the fluid first before tearing it down.

Usually hard shifting ie grinding between gears especially between first and reverse. Loss of fluid from the clutch master cylinder and no pressure on the pedal.
