Default offroad bumper build

im gonna start a bumper build tomorrow in shop class but need. to ask a question i cant seem to find anything about building a frame before putting the 1/4 sheet on. would just your average angle iron be good for a frame as long as i did some cross bracing inside. not necessarly goin for ***** to the wall indestructible bumper mainly just a project for looks and boredom

thinking about this design except on a 93 f150 with a fairly big stinger made out of solid 7 inch pipe and then hopefully getting a 20inch led bar to mount in lower portion of stinger
