I guess they didn't. I plan on keeping mine forever!

While were on the subject of instrument clusters, I have another question. The speedometer needle wobbles at lower speeds and smooths out at higher speed. It has an aod trans btw. I replaced the vss and speed sensor on the trans (connected to the speedo cable) and it seemed to help but it still does it. Any ideas? You can see the wobble in this video
