OD light is out, but od works fine, it up\down shifts ok when the button is pushed, change button or is there anywhere else to look?

 

my bet is, thats it. i dont think them things are designed to be anything but either on there, or replaced as a whole can you even replace just the button portion?...one of these days i should chase down the ground issue with my push button 4wd light because that thing goes on and off when it damn well pleases(the actual button light, not the orange 'mode' lights)

 

ebay has buttons for about $20.00 I just need to find out how to get it out.
