Default Thanks

Thanks, What is TP? I am aware of the EGR situation. I did it on purpose to avoid having to buy a $65 solenoid valve. THe fuel pump issue, does that usually mean the fuel pump is bad? I switched tanks and the truck seems to run but it runs rough. I have about 60K miles on the fuel filter and suspect that may be part of the problem although I don't have a gauge to test fuel pressure at this time.

Default Thank You all

I solved my problem with your help. It is a long story. I helped out at my kids school this spring. I moved several loads of wood chips in my truck. Some of the chips fell down between the cab and bed and landed on the fuel tank right where the fuel tank mounts. This summer I took the truck to the car wash and it stalled inside the car wash. I thought it was ignition related.
I stopped going to the car wash and hand washed it since. Lately, it rained here very hard and the truck would not start.

I switched fuel tanks and solved my problem, then noticed two hand fulls of wood chips on top of my fuel tank. Cleaned them off and will retry running on the front tank soon.

Please learn from my ignorance and don't make the same mistake. If anything gets between the bed and cab wash or blow it out right away.
