Im just pokin' fun. I know what you meant. And OBD 3? They have that? I thought they were just considering everything from EEC V or VI on OBD 2....either way, yeah those plugs are in side either under the center of the dash stuff, near the steering column, or on the passenger side I've seen sometimes.

For future reference, the government mandated On-Board Diagnostics 2 (OBD2) on all vehicles in 1996. Vehicles that are manufactured on the half year of 1995 are considered a 1996 year model. Ex. 06/95 "manufacturer date, not to be confused with model year" displayed on the door jamb (or the location of the VIN sticker) is a 1996.
In other words, all vehicles < 1996 are OBD1 or OBD1.5. Very few model year 1995 vehicles have a OBD2 diagnostic connector but still retain OBD1 connectors for emission purposes.

Well he has a 92 so he is well before OBD 2. As we've already told him, along with the location of the port/jack.
