I put true dual catless 2.5" pipe into dynomax bullets to 4" tips behind rear tires. My truck is LOUD. you can hear it well over a half mile.

If you decide to keep a cat and stay legal, Magnaflow has a replacement part that takes you from two cats to one. I am running a 2 chamber flow with both cats. I have it dumped just past the cab. It will grumble at idle and just above. Still pretty quite at highway speeds. I have ordered the Magnaflow piece. I will post a video of what my truck sounds like now. And then one when I get the Magnaflow part installed. By the way, my truck only had 60k on it when I bought it a year ago. Has like 70k now. Do you mind me asking how much you gave for you truck? I paide right at $5500 for mine. It is a mint XLT X-cab auto 302 2wd. Peace & Chicken Greece!

i got a 93 with the 302 and i cut the cats which killed the oxygen sensor so now my check engine light comes on once shes warmed up but it doesn't matter. but anyway no cats and about 7ft long dual straight pipes is what i got under there and its got a decent rumble to it. not too loud in town but on the highway you can hear me coming about a mile away. plus with no cats or mufflers i can get about 18mpg if i drive right.

Whatever you do leave your cat because the o2 sensors will mess all sorts of stuff up, and as far as a muffler i am running a summit 3" exhaust behind the muffler straight out the back under the bed, and it sounds amazing
