Default No start.. fuel problem?

1992 Bronco 5.8 engine.
Put in a new pump, rear fuel line and filter.
It starts with starter fluid but not on regular gas.
The pump is pumping and I am getting 40 PSI on the schrader valve on the fuel rail.
I am getting spark to the coil but I did not pull the plugs...
Suggestions?

40psi at the rail and no start. But has ignition with starter fluid? What is controlling the injectors? Wifes 96 5.0 has a cam syncronizer for this job. what about your 92.

Check the fuses in the engine bay.

I am assuming that the injectors are controlled by the computer?
All of the fuses under the hood appear to be in good shape.

You are correct the PCM does fire the injectors but what tells the computor when to fire them? Has to be something to tell the brain when the mechanical engine is on the correct stroke.

If a computer can't read any of position sensors (and therefore can't understand what to do), it usually throws up an error code. If you get no error codes, start with ignition timing and check for spark on plugs.
