There is no spark coming from my ignition coil. Is the coil bad or is there something check that should be made before replacing the coil 91 f150 auto 5.0efi

 

there are many things to check make sure the eec is conected and is working properly then see if there is power going to the coil if theres power going to the coil then check if theres power comeing off the coil then check the tfi module i belive its the conection on the side of the distributer you need to get a manual that tells you the right volts each conection should have etc i got one best thing i could have bought tells me how to dignose the problems what i should look for etc but it could only just be a lose wire and not nessecrly be a coil try and elimante everything by seeing if theres power to the coil if yes then replace coil
