No power when warm
Hi there
I have a 96 f150 with the 5.0 Truck always starts and idles fine.
runs good until it warms up. then starts to ping under load usually
on hills with no power.
sometimes hard to start after change in weather temperature like
after it rained all night before.
Thanks for any help

There's not much we can do other than guess, without knowing ALL the truck's details & history. Click these, read the captions, & fill in your signature:

Where it's a 96 there are some basic diagnostics you can perform with a scan tool that has live data. Many times the type problem you're having can relate to the Coolant Temp Sensor giving a readout that isn't accurate. Use the scanner to see coolant and air temps prior to a cold start and then when running. This would be a good starting point.
