Unhappy No Fuel problem

after running (roughly) I disconnected iac, egr, map and the plug going into the circular vacum solenoid and sprayed all the connection/plugs with sensor cleanor I then pluged them back in and I have no fuel pressure. Not sure if the sensor stuff is even related but I thought it could be relevant. Ok I have 0 fuel pressure at the rail and the only fuel pump that makes any noise when priming the system is the high pressure frame mounted one. I took the lines coming out of the tanks off of the selector valve and cranked. absolutley no fuel came out either of them no matter what tank was selected and they both worked a few days ago (ran right before the sensor cleaning)

I really hope both my fuel pumps didnt just simultaneously go bad at the same time. Inertia switch is not triggered, fuel pump relay is good. Only thing that could be bad aside from the pumps themselves is the switch on the dash right? or is there a fuse I can check for the fuel pumps If there is could somone tell me where.

I tried jumping the fuel pumps by running a wire from the selector switch plug in the dash to the battery and still nothing

Im not sure if I jumped the pumps correctly I did it following a video the picture is of the way I jumped the fuel pumps. My trucks a 1989 his is 1994 not sure if his method (in the picture) applies to my truck aswell

This thing just keeps on breaking and fixing it is very annoying is it really possible both my intank pumps went bad at the exact same time. as I said I have checked relay and inertia switch their good. is there a fuse I could check, or could it be the selector switch on the dash

Thanks
Noah

Couple of months ago my selector switch went bad, on the job, and left me stranded. I didn't check to see if I was getting fuel or not. Saw that my fuse was good, the relay seemed fine, so I got a new switch and everything worked. The odds are both pumps did not go bad at the same time unless something you did shorted them out.

You should put ALL the truck's details into your signature as this page explains, so we know what you're working on without having to ask every time:

Any chance someone stole your gas and you didn't notice the tanks are empty?
