Default New Intake

hello, new to the forum. I came across an Edelbrock Performer 5.0 intake for a mustang and was wondering if it would be worth buying and putting on my truck. My truck is a 92 f150 supercab 5.0 4x4

I think you'd be taking a step backwards going to a Mustang intake. Truck intakes are built for low end torque and tow power and they have two airflow inlets versus one on the Mustang.

Whens guys convert to the gt40 setup they are seeing gains. I was just thinking that an edelbrock performer intake would be along the same lines

The runners on the truck intake are longer which like the other guy said gives more low end. The mustang has shorter runners.
