New guy sez Hello!!
Hello, all! Just got my first REAL truck last week and I'm happy as a kid at Christmas. It's a '95 F150 with the 4.9L I6. Former state of Ohio truck, but in real good shape. No real problems or serious technical questions yet, but I do have one goofy request for info... I keep leaving my lights on, and a warning buzzer would be sweet! I found the key-in-ign. buzzer unplugged so I fixed that, but still no "lights are on" buzz. Does my truck have one, and where is it? I can't seem to find anything under the dash other than the one i plugged in. Any help is always appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
PS: I'm a trailer mechanic, and I specialize in tow packages for trucks, both aftermarket and OEM. so if you have any questions about these, holler at me, because I'm considered a guru!
Thanks,
Mike

Well, if you're right, then mine must be broken, 'cuz I've tried to make it buzz. I know this sounds like a trivial problem, but I keep leaving the lights on and sooner or later i'm gonna get stuck begging for a jump. Maybe it's the "new truck" high...
Also check make sure someone did not remove the power lines for the seat belt reminder as it uses the same buzzer also, you can however remove the lines at the bottom of the driver seat belt to kill the buzzer without disabling the key of headlight buzzer.

these trucks don't have a seatbelt reminder buzzer. The buzzer is the one and the same as the key in ignition buzzer as previously stated. Here's an aftermarket unit.
