Hey everybody I'm new to the Forum just registered. Im glad to find all this good info on my favorite truck...I have a 1993 ford f-150 ext-cab 6'6" bed 4x4, 351...Burgundy..I've had this thing awhile and was thinking of getting rid of it cause of gas mileage and all, but I dont drive it much just up to home depot and to the dump, and here and there , so I guess the 8 mpg around town won't kill me 100 miles or so a month.. But I am dreaming of making it a nice 4x4, show and go type truck. Mechanically she runs good and does good. As far as looks, Lets just say I havent been dancing with the one who brung me , but I hope to fix that soon..Here are some of the first things I would like to address...Driver Window off track.. Tune up and try to get 10 mpg out of her round town. Rebuild Ac Unit, and Find Vacume Leak, Front end Alignment..That would bring her up to snuff...Then On to some of the fun stuff, New Paint -Red, Burgundy slightly updated version of what came from factory. 2-3" Lift, with good parts. 17" wheels with 35" A/T tires, 1" wheel spacers. New window tint, Re-upholster Driver Side Bolster Seat, Maybe new carpet. Spray on bed liner. Custom front and rear, bumpers, Matching fiberglass camper top and custom made Roof rack in front of that. Some off-road lights front , back ,and side, winch, headres, with true dual exaust...Jeez I sound like a 5 yr old kid telling santa what I want for christmas...Anyway I have more time and skill than money so I hope I can do most of this myself over time....My skilled trade is Fiberglass, and Im also a good motorcycle Mechanic, and welder. So if anyone needs help in those areas I would try to contribute..Best Wishes Eric
