I just wanted to introduce myself - I've always dug old trucks. My driver is a 2004 F150 4X4 Supercab but just aquired a 1990 F150 long wheel base and my son and I are getting it running for his first ride. I had a Bronco of the same era that I kick myself for ever selling . The truck was free but needs some work. Got the 302 running last night but it needs a valve job. On to the tranny next - I think it's shot but should know more this evening. I'm sure I'll need some advice from you folks as I get further into the resurection.

Chuck

The tranny needs to be rebuilt. Does anyone know were I can get a tailgate center panel for a resonable price? I've checked a few junkyards without any luck - checked on the net a little too.
