You'll have to check with an exhaust shop to get a quote on the exhaust system but long tube headers would improve your overall torque as opposed to the shorty headers. The choice on high flow or no cats is up to you although I believe in no cats. Glasspacks sound decent on anything but usually burn out in a few months anyways and then they are just a resonating chamber. You could just go straight pipe and have a decent tone.

Bolt on would be shortie headers and a cat back sys from flowmaster, prob spend around 800 or so, or a set of long headers and do your own exhaust, I am doing my truck for around 300. I am getting dynomax headers, universal cat, and a flowtech raptor muffler, exit in front of rear wheel. I am going to weld everything up myself.

Where could I find a good set of long tube headers and would there be any sensors that would get in the way? Engine is a 302.

For long tubes the O2 sensor is gonna be about it and most header manufacturers make the bungs already into the header collector. If not, then a bung is only a dollar or so. Drill a hole and weld it in.
