Default New engine issues P0414

I have no CEL however my code scanner is showing a P0414 code. When I press the throttle it will hesitate like it is going to stall out. If I rev the engine and get the rpms up, it wants to stall out when the rpms come back down. It does have a new TPS. The old one was bad. I tested the tps prior to installing it. What are some areas I should look at? I have not tested the TAB or TAD yet.

P0414 is a thermactor code, but it shouldn't cause any driveability issues. I would start with the basics. Check fuel pressure, ignition timing, and make sure the spark plugs and air filter are in good shape.

Thanks. Fuel pressure is good. Air filter is good. Timing is good. Spark plugs are less than 50 miles old but I will check again.

Saying they are good means nothing. What is your fuel pressure and basic timing?

MAF sensor/screen clean towards accurate airflow measurements, especially when the airflow changes?
SPOUT connector doing its thing - that is, does the timing adjust as engine speed changes with the plug in place?
