I lived in laramie for a little over a year. When i got to altitude my truck had like no power. I disconnected my battery and turned on the head lights to kill the system. Then hooked it back up to reset the computer. It helped a little but was not the same until I drove home to Maine.

Have you tried running a higher octane fuel? Not sure if the impact is noticable but could have some effect.

The chip prob. not sure on the cam. Most of the time when you make more power and drive conservativly (SP?) you will get better mileage. Dont got to extreme with the cam though because it will effect your low RPM everyday driving.
