Thumbs up Need more horesepower

We all know that the 300 I6 does not have alotta horsepower. Is there anyway I can get the horsepower up? I kno theres not much you can do to these engines. Also any ideas on how i can get lower? Thanks for looking

well they really weren't made for horsepower, mostly torque. But maybe a K&N and just other simple stuff like that would probably help.

headers are a good hp gain but not much 10 to 20hp so depends what your looking for 100hp gain buy a v8 it be cheaper

Perhaps have a look at www.fordsix.com

Agree that the 300's forte is torque, not horsepower. Think of it as a glorified tractor engine - well-respected, very reliable, and long-lived - but not a showboater.

For those enquiring minds - Torque x engine speed / 5252 = horsepower.
