BODY LIFT FTL! i dont even see why people consider these any more. you can suspension lift it for cheaper than a body lift. a block lift and coil spacers would be better than a body lift.

Default springs and blocks..

Is a leveling kit that cheap? DO you know who has the best deals? A body lift is only $125 but time sucks except for the fact that my body mounts are a little over used. (Sounds like a personal problem, huh) Anyways they will need to be replaced but I would rather do a level kit if that was what you were refering to.

i believe its rough country that makes a coil springs and blocks for the rear for like, $165? and new coils by them selves are only like $125. i'd look into that more than a body lift if i were you. body lifts tend to cause headaches.

Default more info

Can I just do springs in the front or do I have to do the rear also? Are springs the way to go or spacers, and how does this effect caster?

no, you you can do just the front, also known as a leveling kit. and any time a product just "modifies" the stock part (i.e. spacers, blocks, add-a-leafs), its best to just wait and save up to do it the right way, IMO. and ANY lift you do you'll have to take to an allignment shop, unless you do a body lift, but a body lift is not worth the money at all.

Damn dude, did you have a truck fall off of the frame or something? LOL

I have had two trucks with body lifts, and I know many others that have them also, without a problem. When I added up the cost of doing an 8 inch lift and all of the extra stuff that would need to be done, I found it was cheaper to go with a 6" lift and a 3" body lift.

I wound up just buying a different truck that had the 6" lift and then I wound up putting the body lift on later.

check out daystar leveling spacers at jcwhitney. I got a set for my 95 f150 for under $100 and they worked great! I cleared 32/12.0'' Thornbirds with no scrubbing. Just make sure and get an alignment afterwards. Also there are knock offs of this kit on ebay for around $40-$50.
