Default Need help, re-install driver side 4wd auto unit

Hey guys I replaced my ball joints and now I'm having issues re-installing my 4wd components. I thought that i put the nuts on in the right ordered and then slid the locking hub right onto the shaft but it doesnt want to go in all the way. I cant get it to where the cap will go flush with the rotor hub. I spent five hours trying to get this unit back on. Im doing something wrong. The cap has five torque screws that bolt to the locking hub, if that helps. If someone can give me the right order or have a pic that would be great. I have a 1993 Ford F150.

Did you take out the axle? It might not be in all the way, look at the boot to see if it pulled out any.
