Default Need help!

hey guys i m new here and i need so help. to strt off i 17 so i dont know every thing that i should know, and im broke. but i have a 95 f150 and i dont know where the porblem is comming feom but im pretty sure its from the transmission. when i am accelerating and it is getting ready to shift the truck rattles around some time more than others and some times not at all. it is a 5.0 4x4 with 120,000 on it. any help would be greatly apperaceted!!

Thanks and tell me if i need to give more info on whats going on.

gears are missing out probably, take that **** to a tranny shop and have them check it out!

check your fluid first, and maybe if you feel comfortable drain and and check the fluid rubbing it through your finger feeling for grittyness and checking for metal shavings, then replace tranny fluid and filter (maybe get some trans tune to put in too). That would be my first step after a visual inspection.
