Need fuel pump help
I recently had my fuel pump die in my driveway (thankfully). Went to crank the truck and it started then died immediately. I normally turn my key into key-on-engine-off and wait to hear my fuelpump wine before starting but its no longer priming so Im assuming its the fuel pump. Replaced the relay but that didnt do anything. Truck cranks, gets spark and air all fine.
My problem is: I used to have dual tanks, but we deleted one so I only have one in the back now. Can someone tell me what model fuel pump I need?
Also, do I need to replace the fuel filter at the same time?
And lasty, what is the easiest way to replace the fuel pump?

Yes, you should replace the filter when you do the pump. Auto parts should be able to tell you which pump you need. Some people prefer to remove the truck bed which gives free access to the pump. If you can't remove the bed then its drop the tank time.
