Actually. My bosses 97 2wd f250 with a 460 just went from florida to tennessee and back a month or so ago averaging 14 MPG interstate.

Ya the 460 trucks weren't to bad! A friend has one with a full dual exhaust with no cats and a k&n filter and gets 16 mpg average if he drives nice. It's a 4x4.
It's the exhaust that did it for him tho. After removing all the cats it went up big time he says!

around here for the condition its in. its worth 5k easy. my little f150 is worth 7k around here.
