Default need to diagnose this problem.

My truck drove fine when I bought it. Then it began stalling when I put it in reverse. Then it ended up stalling everytime I drove it and hit the brakes. I changed my fuel filter now the truck drives like it did but still stalls in reverse and it stalls if I let it idle in drive.
I am thinking the alternater but the alternater is relatively new.
When I start the truck I have to run it for a little if I go to pull out and let of the gas the truck stalls and it doesn't start for a while after that. It seems like there are endless possibilities of what it can be can someone help me narrow it down a bit

x2 on pulling codes.....www.fordfuelinjection.com will tell you how. IAC would be a good place to start as well as checking the TPS voltage......
