Just general advice, or anything in particular?

Spray some PB Blaster, let it sit, loosens things up, some people have some issues. They can be a real b*tch! to get out sometimes. Don't be afraid to break out a torch and a sledge if you need to, just don't damage the knuckle. You may as well check your u-joints while everything's off.

Turn the knuckle around a bit and see if you can find a better angle. If not, you can always grind it off if you're careful about it. I cant remember how my knuckle was facing, but that wasn't a problem...

Well, I think part of the problem may be that the axle shaft has to come out. Don't see how you'd get that nut off with it in there. No need to cut it off. Also do have have ABS? the sensor needs to come out also. If you don't remove the axle shaft you can't hit the knuckle down to get it off the truck
