Default Need advice from this point

I was having stalling at stop signs , I did the plugs fuel/air filters and changed oil. Didn't help ! tested the did the electrical checks on map - egr - plug wires / checked for vacuum leaks (as best I could) This start out of no where - no problems till right before the fuel filter change. BTW it runs like a champ on the highway. no stall hiccups nothing. Only stalls at stopping. So I came to the pro's for help

Any and all comments are welcomed.

I would pull the engine codes. That will give you direction as to where to look.

After that, if no obvious code related issues, I would suspect the Idle Air Control valve.https://www.fullsizebronco.com/threa...ur-iac.206960/

I pulled IAC and cleaned it up. had little carbon but not much.... reinstalled (same) Ill go get a new one and see if that's the fix.

Don't know why i did the check but, I did, Seems my alternator isn't charging the battery at the voltage needed(took the idle up to 3-3.5 rpm and still same. Battery sits at 12.5 - 12.9 never higher.

wile I was checking it the truck died and heard a click after the stall - nvr heard this before - Location driver side around the fire wall..

No codes.

The IAC is easy enough to test. Just pull it off the truck, and send 12 volts to it while watching to see if the plunger inside of it moves.

Don't just go throwing parts at it. Figure out why it is acting badly and then get the right parts if need.

Before I went to get a new one, pulled old part out and I retested the actuator (12v it moved) when I rechecked the the rod. it had a rough spot when moving - hence the replacement. (I clean it up with throttle body cleaner both times no change in the movement.)

Did the vacuum line trace to make sure all are attached or not broken - It all looked good ill test once I get a tester.

someone mention fuel pumps but I can believe one, but both pumps gone lol or should have said three ? High low. both tanks have fuel - I know I filled the 6 months ago lmao no it was on way home after this stared. On the high way it ran like a champ then stalls at stopping and it will start right back up and go. next stop fine next die.

Ill keep you up to date -

UPDATE - Ok so I replaced the part (after deciding I didn't like the feel of the rod movement. started right up but with a high idle not going down hence the unplug of the tps ! I unplugged the TPs the dang thing will idle all day I haven't taken it off the driveway but it seems to idle great with it un plugged. Going to test the tps and update....

Update #2 today - tps was bad oms not correct range. I went and pulled the throttle body and its bad bad lol. lots and lots of cr@p . going to clean it up and get Buster on the road ! Ill update to give more info of the fix . By the way the gasket was in bad shape (of course ill replace it ) - It was home made !

IT IS ALIVE - thank you to all who helped get me on track Received the tps and installed - All is well with my truck.

I cleaned the throttle body with throttle body cleaner till I ran out the wet to q-tips and alcohol. Both a lot of beer and rubbing alcohol. beer help really well. the wife didn't like me getting buzzed - But hey it's clean.

Thank you all and the F-150 forum. This site rocks and no im not buzzed Yet !
