Default name that random object... wtf!

Ok who can tell me what the hell this thing is and why was it sitting in the bottom of the differential?

come on someone fess up... I just got back from changing my diff fluid. I dont think it was ever changed in 230000 kms. she's got some chips in the spider gears and some nicks in the cover but I guess she'll hold together till I get around to tossing in a 31spline setup.

also went into the thermostat housing... oh look it's not there. No wonder I was freezing my *** off coming up here. threw in some NGK Vpower plugs and broke a clip on one of the wires. Of course anything better then stock is special order up here.

going to relocate a ground strap as well, do the tranny fluid and see what else I can mess up in the next week.

there or on the ring gear shims... I see it more as the clutch shim tab that broke off...more so if someone was really winging one tire around the corner and it suddenly stopped once straight it grabbed and something has to give...
