Default Mufflers????

I want to get a new dual exhaust and wanted to know if anyone had some recommendations. I was thinking Thrush 2 Chambered Welded Mufflers. I want a good combination of sound and tone.

I personally have a Flowmaster 44 series muffler, single in and duel out and fabbed up some exhaust piping to run duels out back. Sounds decent, not really loud but decent. Thinking of cutting two of the cats off this spring and see if that helps with the volume a lil bit....

man i had the same set up before i went true duals,,if u remove the cats and cut the pipe off after the muffler it will sounds mean as hell,,,those single in dual out flows sounds the best when there bob tailed

id either run glasspacks,,,flowmaster single chamber 40s or if u wanna sounds really mean and agressive get some flowmaster 10 series single chambers

Personally, I'd go with the SLP Loudmouth II's. It's what I have on my truck. Check the youtube videos for this amazing sound. I installed a pair of summit shorty headers, 2x summit high-flow 2.5" cats, 2.5" piping, summit offroad xpipe, and two SLP Loudmouth II mufflers. They combine a baffled muffler inside with a glasspack. Thanks to some clever routing, I have both pipes exiting before the rear tires lightning style (thanks to a tank delete on the driver side front tank). The sound still gives me goosebumps sometimes. Sounds like a top-fuel dragster when it downshifts and skips two gears.

I agree with the SLP Loudmouths like what this guy is saying ^^ I've never heard them on a truck before, but i know they sound badass on mustangs/camaros/etc.... I'll stick with no mufflers though I'm a straight pipe fan
