I have an '89 with the 4.9L I6. It's about to be muffler replacement time.

Can anyone suggest something inexpensive that has a better sound than stock? I don't want LOUD, just something with a little character.

Lol. I also have a 4.9 I6 and thought is would be nice to make it sound alittle more beefy. Disapointed, I decided to stick with the factory quite muffler. I did my homework on it and there is no dought in my mind that the Inlines are just tractor motors placed in a truck. Youll will see once you put on a performance muffler. If you do find something that sounds good, post it so we all can hear it.
