Default muffler question

ok i got a question for yall. i have a 96 f150 5.0L and i had a flowmaster on it, it was real quiet and you could not hear it so i took it up to my muffler shop and i wanted a cherry bomb glass pack but that dont carry cherry bomb so they but some kind of 18in glasspack on it and it sounds just a little bit louder and with a little rumble when u get off the gas then it was before. you can not tell the difference. so i spent $75 on a piece of glasspack so i am kind pissed off! so now what i am wondering is what kind of muffler can i put on it to make it loud with a good rumble when u get on it but not to load that its like straights. ill put up a vid of the new glasspack and what it sound like tomarrow so yall can hear it. i dont have a vid of the old flowmaster.

I'm wondering if people are hearing true duals around town, and are disappointed when trying to dup the sound w/ a single pipe?

I put about one to two feet of piping behind my glasspacks and it reduced the sound immensely. If you want loud, you need to put dumps on it after the muffler.

Let the glasspack wear in first, they take a little bit, get it nice and hot a couple times and hit it with a hammer, breaks up the fiberglass inside and makes it louder
