Default Is this muffler good?

Hey Guys

I got a 1987 f150 single cab with a 9 inch total lift on it that my dad is passing down to me as my first truck. It does have the 351 with about $8,000 in it including cam, pistons, block work, etc.. and i am in the process of fixing it up to make it right.

As far as exhaust and everything goes as of right know it goes from headers to cadillac converter and dumps. I am wanting to go headers to pipe to muffler and dump it straight down.

I had this muffler in mind

Anyone know if this is any good or not? And will it pass the law?

Thanks
Travis

Considering that it is a race muffler, it will probably be pretty loud. Especially without cats.

You're going to have some major highway and mid-high idle drone inside the cab. Just a heads up. Not sure if it matters to you, but just remember that when putting an exhaust on like that. And leaving the cats on will make it not so deep and loud, but it will still be annoying with mid to WOT. Might want to go with a flowmaster or magnaflow or something with more pack to keep sound out of your car and instead going out of the tail pipe.
