20-21 mpg? Do you idle down the road? LOL! My truck gets between 10-15 mpg depends how it is running.

I don't idle if at all possible. I'm know for driving 10 miles out of the way to avoid red lights! Just found some things that help my mpg's. K&N oversize oval filter, 10w30 oil, tires aired up to 35psi, fresh plugs and trying to keep it around 60mph if at all possible. I've still got a couple things to do to get the mpg's even better. If I quit spending my engine money on stereo equipment, I'll be upgrading the exhaust, adding a streetfire coil and a toneau cover. I might see 1mpg with the last three add on's, but I've heard as much as 2-3mpg gains.

Nelly Belle gets 16.3 to 17.5 on my 40 mile round trip commute into Boston. Roughly 30 to 45 minutes drive time.
My best is 20 Mpg at 60 Mph and it drops to 18-17.5 Mpg at 70-75 mph.
Only Mods are 2 deg timing bump, low resistance Taylor wires, and .050 gap vs stock .044 on the copper core Autolite plugs.
