Default motor mount issue?

i have been driving around for awhile and noticed the shift on the column and the 4x4 shifter was moving up and down alot. i opened the hood and stomped on the gas in drive and the whole motor rocks back and forth. i have the 302 v8 5.0l
2 questions/.
first question is is it possible for both mounts to be blow at once
second how hard is it to change on these motors looks like no room so its gotta be a pain

Its a little bit of work but there is room. I did both of mine on jackstands. The hard thing was getting it to drop back down after the new mounts were in. I walked away for a few minutes then came back and it popped in.
I did not to have to move anything when I did mine, just jack the motor and there was plenty of room. It would have been much easier on a lift but when I took it back for the inspection sticker the mechanis told me he usually had problems getting the motor to drop back in too.

I think the nuts are 3\4 or 11\16, but if I remember they are 3\4. A wrench or ratchet\short socket will work.
