Default Monster Transmissions

I bought a so called heavy duty transmission and 1800 stall converter from Monster trans in may, received it 6/6 and installed it 6/7. on 7/31 I packed the truck with camping gear, loaded 2 bikes on the trailer and headed to Sturgis. 25 miles from home the front seal fell out of the trans. I called Monster trans from the road , they told me to ship the trans to them at my expense and they would look at it. I had the truck and trailer towed to Certified trans, rented a truck and went to Sturgis. I had them replace the trans and converter when they told me what they found in the Monster build.

Disassembly of your heavy duty transmission revealed noupgraded components other than a shift kit.

Front pump seal was for a4R100 transmission.

bushing has premature failure in pump.

Belleville spring in reverse drum extremely worn.

Band surface is gouged heavily.

There were two steels together in the drum followed by twofriction. (Incorrect assembly)

Lack of metal particles in the pan indicate that thetransmission was assembled with these worn parts installed.

One of the shift cable mounting holes had no threads left.

Transmission shop indicated installation was good and didnot cause failure.

I have requested a refund from Monster transmission stating that the transmission I sent the was in better shape than the one they sent me but have not heard back from them.

I should have done more research before doing business with Monster as they are not BBB accredited and have had numerous complaints against them.

Sorry for the long post, I'm just a bit upset.
