mom needs help !
I have a wiring book on its way but will take about a week and half to get here. 1995 ext cab f-150 4 wheel drive xl.
Does anyone know what the 4 wires that come out of the floor in the center under the dash do ?. I have 4 wires 1-black 1-grey-1 red 1- green. I am wondering what the red and green are supposed to do ?
I'm trying to remove a badly installed remote start and somehow the antenna box for the remote start is currently using the red and green-then they are scabbed into the the airbag fuse at the fuse box.
So the red and green are bypassing whatever they used to be connected to, then further down you see the red and green again and and there is a switch of some sort on there too .....at the end of the switch is a connector that looks like it used to belong to something else...gulp...
I was going to try and get a picture but its too dark right now ..kind of has me curious..as I have the rest of the unit out and everything else is wrapped and ready to go.

I have a suggestion, disconnect the battery and "REMOVE THOSE WIRES FROM THE AIR BAG CIRCUIT!" Except for the potentially leathal consiquenses, it wouldn't pose a problem otherwise. Who ever hooked that up originally is dangerously stupid or their reeeeeally pissed at you or mummsy.
