Manuals?
Is there a better manual than a Haynes or Chilton for my '93 F-150? If so where could I buy one? I have the Haynes but I've got a big learning curve ahead of me and some in depth reading material would be great.
I got the Chilton's 'Do-It-Yourself' series - which was about twice as thick as the standard Chilton's offering - about 3" vs the standard 1 to 1-1/2".
If the Ford service manual is anything like the Pontiac manual I got for my Grand Prix - suggest that is one of the better ways to go. Other than the calling for special tools with horrendously long GM part numbers - it really goes in-depth as far as 'how-to'.
Several members recommend the on-line resources such as AllData, where you have to pay a subscription fee based on length of access availability.
Don't forget - this site is also a great resource to use for advance on one's learning curve. :-)
