making a light bar

Default making a light bar

well im in the process of making a light bar from square stock. its pretty light weight for being weld steel. im using a 5 foot but 1 inch by 1 inch. ill take some pictures tomorrow, and i should be done it tomorrow as well.

well here is the "almost" finished product.

Parts
-6 foot weld steel square tubing 1 inch by 1 inch from Lowes
-4 Off Road Lights
-Misc hardware
-20ft red 14 gauge wire
-20ft black 14 gauge wire
-feet from an old ski rack

here is the finished product...i like it a lot actually, but i might put on a 5th light next week and see how i like that. ill be wiring it all up tomorrow using a relayed system with a switch on the dash





this light bar is supposed to be a removable one thats why i did not mount it to the roof directly
