Question Lost with 9th gen upgrades...

Ok i got a 1995 F150 2wd 5.0L E4od 3:55 rear end. I want to do some performance upgrades. Not sure of a few things tho, and this is where a few facts and opinions are needed.

If i switch to a carb motor i need a different trans, what would be a better steet/strip trans? C4, C6 or AOD ?

Im not sure if i want to stick with EFI or go carb. I probably will be upgrading to a 5.8 either way, now with doing that i need a 5.8 ECU. Will the 5.8 ECU run off the same engine wiring harness that my 5.0 ECU runs with?

You don't need a different trans whn you switch to carb. Your trans will still work fine.
As far as the other question I'm not positive but I don't think your wiring harness and ecu will work from your 302 to the 351. Unless you carb the 351 thn you will not need to worry about the ecu at all

You would need a stand-alone controller for the E4OD if you go carb, it will work with a carb though.
