Default loose drivers mirrors

1995 F150 XLT with power mirrors
The drivers mirror is loose and the screws are somewhat stripped.
When I drive I see it bounce a little. I'm curious if I just remove the screws and replace with another type if that would stop the shaking. The mirror has never been hit or hit anything in my ownership of the truck. It just started recently. Any help would be great.

Don't self tappers. Do it right or don't do it at all. What parts stripped? Where it threads in? Or the torx

The torx, its not major stripped just a little. I went yesterday and bought a T-25 torx bit for it. I tightened it down and the mirror assembly doesn't move now.

Good I'm glad. If it came down to it. I would drill off the head and remove the stud to replace it if needed
