A little help?
Today me and my brother were under my truck looking at how bad my exhaust really is and we noticed a hole on the bottom of the trans (behind the oil drain plug, closer to the rear of the truck) can someone just inform me if there is supposed to be a cover over it or if thats how its meant to be?

Also when I hit my brakes it sounds like there is air being released. The brakes work fine, i was told to replace my master cylinder, before i do that i just wanted to check and make sure that is probably what the issue is.

If you are hearing air when you apply the brakes, I would guess that the booster is the cause. Check the hose going to the booster for a split. If the hose is good, then its probably the booster. The hole is suppose to have a rubber plug in it. The hole is there to drain the fluid from the converter. If you were to spin the converter, you will find a drain plug in it.
