Default Lighting issue

When my right turn signal is on my fuel reset light flashes too, if the dash lights are out i dont have parking lights. Really weird, i think it is the product of some farm country hardwiring but , i believe i will just end up rewiring it all to prevent any further problems. If anyone has any ideas or has had this happen before i would appreciate some insight.

Could be a short somewhere in the system, maybe, or a faulty ground connection. Not really an electrical guru but something to consider.

I used to have a 93 Dakota 4x2. I installed the t-harness so I could tow my utility trailer and plug the lights in. I forgot to connect the ground wire to the frame of the truck. As a result, when I hit the brakes, my back-up lights would light up along with the brake lights. Just an example of what a bad ground could do, it may not be the same problem you have, but you never know.

there is a trailer hook up in the rear, the truck is currently in my garage at work while i am putting my clutch and new fuel tank in so i will be sure to carefully look at all the grounds which will be even easier with the fuel tank out of the way. thanks for the suggestion this very well may be a similar or identical problem. Thanks again

FYI the fuse for the parking lighs is the same for the dash lights. If a parking lamp goes out you have NO interior lights.
