What gears do you have? You can find the axle code on the doorjamb sticker.

My last truck was a 92 supercab with the i6. I lifted it 6 inches and ran 35x12.5x17's with stock 3.55 gears. The i6 is an extremely "torquey" motor and it turned them 35 with no issues even able to run highway speeds

Same tires and gears in a regular cab, with a 5 speed worked great for me.

And could even turn a set of 37s

Yup mine was 5spd as well! I wouldn't have been afraid to even stuff 38's under it and run it down the road
