Lifted Advice

Im getting a 1988 f150 for a hunting truck and I want to put it on 40" tires how big of a lift will i need?

6" will get a 36" tire underneath with some minor fender massaging. Maybe a 40" will fit with maybe a body lift too?

my 8" barely clears 38s
skyjacker 8" kit, 3" body from performance acessories may clear 40s
ill let you know next month when i bring mine up more.

you probably will not want to go that high with the IFS.
