Default Lift help please

Hey guys I have a 95 f150 4x4 and long story short I got a job and now my parents will let me lift my truck. Heres what i was thinking about doing. Getting pro comp 2" kit ( spacer up front and the AAL) and then once i get a paycheck get 2 inch springs and 4" drop down brackets and then a different block in the back. So in the end id have new springs and spacers up front and drop dwn brackets and a 4 inch block in the back. What do you guys think? I have a friend thats a mechanic that will put the lift front spacer and AAl for $100, is that a good deal? Thanks so much for the help!

I agree, that's alot of mixing and matching. Just get a lift kit. Your Gunna have major alignment problems if you build the kit yourself.

I have to agree with the others about buying a kit. It will be simpler to install and align. It will also be cheaper in the long run than buying individual parts. There are alot of variables to lifts, and lots of little things that will send the price of piecing it together higher than a full kit. Remember you are working for your money now, so the best advice I can give you is to do lots of research before spending more to correct the mistakes made by not doing the research. The time spent researching will pay off in the long run, trust me.

First ask yourself a couple of questions: How much lift are you wanting? What size tires do you plan on running with it? Do you have to have the wanted lift for the tire size? Will your tire size lead you to re-gearing?

The answers to these questions will lead you to better knowledge of the parts you need to get the look and performance you want. These answers will also help us give you better advise on your plans.
