Default Levelling Kit

I know this is on here somewhere and I apologize for asking again but i can't find it so. Can I fit 31" tires on a stock '88 F150 2wd or do I have to level/lift it at all?

Thanks, Mike

31's shouldnt be a problem at all. You should be able to go up to 33's on stock truck. Mine came with 31's on it from previous owner stock(absolutley no problems). Our trucks are pretty much the same.

My 89 Bronco came stock with 31's. They rub a little when you turn the wheel all the way to either side.

Fat Bobs Garage has descent prices. But before you order, look and see what size bolt is holding the front spring down because you probably need bolt extensions. I would call and verify the size of the bolt that supposed to come with kit. From experiece, I ordered mine and everything seemed cosher until I got it apart and guess what, the 3/4 bolt ext wont fit on mine since its a 5/8 bolt. Im trying to get it corrected now.

Oyeah I forgot to throw this in. If you put larger tires than whats stock on our trucks then they will rub a little on the radius arms at full lock when steering. It doesnt hurt anything, you get used to how far you can turn until they rub. When they talk about rubbing 31's or 33's thats what they are talkin about not on the body.
