It will sit level, hence leveling. But if you load the bed or tow it will drop down the rear. A helper spring can help with that.

I tend to carry firewood a lot(about 1000+ lbs). is it possible for the 250 springs to go in the back too, without any mods?

I believe the F250 2wd springs are wider so they won't fit without changing the hangers and shackles.

You can get 1000lbs load leveling helper springs for 50$ at Advanced auto.

only way f250 springs will work on a 150 with 0 mods are if the 150 is 4wd.

otherwise like sylv said, you gotta swap hangers also.

They will not fit on a 2wd because the rear leaf springs are 2.5" wide. 4x4 and F250 rear leaf springs are 3" wide. So to get them to fit on a 2wd you need to change the hagners and shackles to get them to work.

The front coil springs from a F250 will fit on the front of a 2wd but you will need an alignment afterwards.

After a lot of research and opinions (many from people that have replied to this thread), I bought the Moog CC844 F-250 springs to replace the fronts on my 92 F-150 4x4. They heavier duty than the stock F-150 springs (higher load per inch of compression) and thus in addition to being new and not sagging they don't flex as much under the weight of the front end/engine. Thus the front end sits higher = level. The consensus seemed to be that you would get about 2" of added heigh with the F-250 coils; however, I won't be installing mine until this weekend. I bought mine from Amazon. With Prime shipping they were a little cheaper than Rock Auto (shipping from Rock Auto was ~$25.00)...and I got them from Amazon in two days (if you're in a rush). RA would have been the better part of a week. Keep in mind that there are also Moog CC844S springs, which are "super duty" and from the feedback that I have heard might be a bit too stiff for regular use. Remember that increasing spring capacity does not mean that you are increasing the load capacity of your truck as the load sits on more than the springs. Since these other parts are engineered to have a certain capacity they are still susceptible to damage from overloading. Actually, while I didn't order from Rock Auto, they have good information on the spring rates and installed heights of the different Moog springs. If you want some additional information, check out this thread (https://www.f150forum.com/f10/questi...-tires-230942/) for some more details. I'll be posting pre/post measurements and photos once I get them installed.

Good luck with your decision.
