Question leaf spring problems!

the back end of my 1994 ford f150 4x4 is sagging down ever since i got it. i now have the money to replace whatever is wrong with the rear suspension. what i need to know is, what are the parts that typically need to be replaced? i looked under the truck and the leaf springs are pretty much rusted through and somewhat broken off of what looks to be like a mounting bracket that is to the frame? i looked around at the prices of leaf springs and im not too happy about them numbers lol. so can i just re mount the leaf springs to where their not shifting around so much and not letting the bed sag? im not too smart on the know how with trucks, so please help me out! thanks much, nick

you could just buy new brackets and rehang the springs, as long as none of them are broken.

fatbobsgarage.com has decent prices for rear leaf packs.

also lmctruck.com for other brackets, etc

$150 a piece is not reasonable IMO. Bronco graveyard has the pair for $205. Same spring. I've been searching as well, and this is the best price I've found so far.

I never said reasonable, I said decent. I have seen worse prices, so $149 is decent, imho.

go to the junk yard maybe you will get lucky and find newer ones. I went to the junk yard last summer and saw a f250 with new springs and brackets
