there are pics around here of a guy with 35s and no lift, I am sure it rubs but if you think about it, the 35's are only 1" larger than 33's..

i used to run 35's with no lift, fixed the rub by taking off about a half inch of the bumper where it curves in, couldnt tell i did it unless you looked behind it. theres some pics of a guy with a f150 on 35's lowered

the little rubbing i get is in the front when i hit the bumpstops. if i put a slightly bigger bumpstop it wont rub at all and still have enough suspenion to have a nice factory ride. for the rear i cut the wheel wells out to clear the 35s from when i lowered the rear 5". its only temp untill i put bigger tubs in the bed and tub the center for the diff to cycle up after we notch the frame for the canti lever 4link. all in all its not that bad and i drive 80 plus miles a day just for work. sometimes with a trailer full of supplies lol

Where did you hear that?

There are two inches difference between a 33" diameter tire and a 35" diameter tire.

35"
-33"
2"

I think what he means is that it's only 1" closer because you are measuring diameter so it's 1" per side. In other words, if you measure the entire diameter you will get 2" larger, but if you measure from the center out, it is only 1"
